“I am Cyrus. King of the world. When I entered Babylon… I did not allow anyone to terrorize the land… I kept in view the needs of people and all its sanctuaries to promote their well-being… I put an end to their misfortune. The Great God has delivered all the lands into my hand; the lands that I have made to dwell in a peaceful habitation…. . .When my soldiers in great numbers peacefully entered Babylon… I did not allow anyone to terrorize the people… I kept in view the needs of people and all its sanctuaries to promote their well-being… Freed all the slaves… I put an end to their misfortune and slavery (referring to religious minorities). The Great God has delivered all the lands into my hand; the lands that I have made to dwell in a peaceful habitation… “

My Lord, grant me success in struggling during failure, in having patience in disappointment, in going alone, in Jihad without weapons, in working without pay, in making sacrifice in silence, in having religious belief in the world, in having ideology without popular traditions, in having faith (Iman) without pretensions, non-conformity without immaturity, beauty without physical appearance, loneliness in the crowd, and loving without the beloved knowing about it.

It’s the most queer thing how the Jewish people are committing such atroscities when they know better than anyone else what it is like to be persecuted and to be methodically killed by their own government.
I recently decided I no longer consider myself Jewish religiously, just culturally. I want no part in a religion that can produce mass funds for state sponsored terrorism overseas. It doesnt matter how liberal the synagogue, they always have fund-raisers to earn money towards Israel. Which really is having bake sales to kill an entire population of people.

Marissa,
Israel is abusing others. There are also Jewish communities in US that are independent and in fact oppose Israel. They believe Israel is abusing their religion.

I’m not gonna defend Israel’s record on the appalling treatment of Palestinians, but as I mentioned in another post, you should also be bringing up the Taliban’s brutal treatment of Shi’a Hazaras which is far worse than what the Israelis could muster. Since you’re Iranian, you must have met Shi’a Hazara refugees from Afghanistan who have some harrowing stories to reveal about their experiences with the Taliban.
What makes them worse than the Israelis? The fact that they claim to be following the will of Allah swt, which we all know is utterly false.

As I mentioned in other comment, Taliban terrorists and their leader Bin Laden were made and supported by US and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You may know that US and its allies once calling them freedom fighters!!
Israel is an Apartheid and racist regime doing crimes every day. In fact Taliban and other hard liner terrorists are there mainly because of Israel. Israel is the root of all problems in the Middle East and I believe even inside the US. Israel is pushing US to act in the interest of a illegitimate government, built on terror and brutality.

The Taliban were created by the ISI in Pakistan in order to exert Pakistani influence upon Afghanistan. They were a byproduct of the Afghan mujahideen (who were not all united FYI).
I differ in that respect. I believe, as a Muslim myself, that we should clean up our own house before condemning other countries. The amount of atrocities that occur in Muslim countries is downright sickening.
Do you know what a Qizilbash leader in West Pakistan did to Bangladesh in 1971?
I personally would like to see US aid to Israel withdrawn, but please, let’s not be delusional. Even without Israel, there would still be the same problems in the region. I say the same thing to people who think the region would be better off without Islam, which I counter it with specific examples that hold much sway to my stance.

Danial,
What you are talking about the role of Pakistan in supporting the Taliban is true, however, that is a one section of a bigger picture. US is the key figure in creating and supporting Taliban and its leader, Bin Laden. In doing so, many elements including Pakistanis have played role as well as countries such as KSA. But you can keep your point if you don’t agree with me anyway!
Danial says: I differ in that respect. I believe, as a Muslim myself, that we should clean up our own house before condemning other countries. The amount of atrocities that occur in Muslim countries is downright sickening. In other words, what you are saying is that each country should take care of its own problems first and not to interfere with others! I guess thats what we say in the Middle East! You should ask yourself then what a hell US government is doing in this side of the glob!
Put your energy to keep your peoples enemy out of your country rather than trying to widen the differences inside your own society. US government is abusing Pakistan's power and is insulting by repeated invasion in the Pakistani soil.
There are problems in each society, but the problem of Israel is unique in the whole world. I invite to read the book written by former US president Jimmy Carter about Israel.

Didn’t the US help Afghanistan to get rid of the Soviets? Thereby creating the Taliban themselves.
The US often will create alliances with countries when it is beneficial to them, and then will turn against them just as quicly when it isn’t beneficial.
I oppose Israel’s actions against the Palestinians. I wish both sides would just focus on military attacks instead of attacks against civilians though, in that respect both of them are at fault.
I wish Israel would just give Palestine to the Palestinians and then get out of Palestine and let them run their own country! Or countries, if the West Bank and Gaza Strip wanted to break up for their own differences. But whatever the case, it really isn’t Israel’s business to be there at all. And I’m positive that the number of suicide attacks against the Israelis would diminish if the Palestinians were actually given control of their lives and their own God-given rights!
Agh, I get so worked up over the Israel issues. It amazes me that I was once so blinded by what I was told by my father and relatives and the US media instead of hearing the actual truth of the matter.

You are so right about these issues. US created Taliban! . . . as they did support Saddam in Iran-Iraq war!
I wish most people in US could understand things as you do, then we would have a happier and peaceful world.

It’s so hypocritical that the US used the Taliban as one of the excuses of war when theyu created it. Just as they created the problems with Saddam by giving him the weapons of mass destruction.
Agh, I wish we as a country would care more about our own Country than about fighting other countries for oil.
